Sleep Consultant, Carol

We have been delighted to have Carol as part of the Nurture2Sleep team for more than two years. As the mum of two young children, bringing both professional expertise and personal experience, Carol understands firsthand the joys and challenges of family life. This photo was taken while she was pregnant with her youngest child, making her journey alongside the families she supports even more meaningful.

"My professional journey has always centred around supporting children and their families. As a qualified Social Worker and former Preschool Teacher in Dubai for over seven years, I have had the privilege of guiding young children through some of the most important stages of their development. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing and the lifelong importance of secure attachment.

Like every member of the Nurture2Sleep team, my practice is grounded in neuroscience, child psychology and evidence-based research, while recognising that every child is unique and every family deserves compassionate, individualised support.

At Nurture2Sleep, we believe sleep is never just about sleep. It reflects every aspect of a child’s world - their development, temperament, emotions, relationships, environment and daily experiences. Rather than simply looking at bedtime, I take the time to understand the whole child and the whole family. By understanding the why behind your child’s sleep, we can create gentle, personalised solutions that not only improve sleep but also nurture confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood and gently guided. Parents should never feel they have to choose between responding with love and providing clear, consistent boundaries. It is through this balance of connection and calm leadership that children develop the confidence to become independent, including at sleep.

Supporting families as they move from exhaustion and uncertainty to feeling rested, connected and empowered is one of the greatest privileges of my work. Watching children develop healthy lifelong sleep skills, while protecting the trusting relationship they share with their parents, is incredibly rewarding.

My goal is to help every family feel supported, informed and confident, providing evidence-based guidance that respects your parenting values while helping your child flourish—because better sleep is never just about quieter nights; it’s about helping the whole family thrive. Never just about sleep. It’s about nurturing children, empowering parents and helping families flourish, one restful night at a time."

Thinking about sleep differently

Every child is unique, and every family has its own story. That is why we never begin with a method, we begin with understanding.

At Nurture2Sleep, we believe that sleep is not something we do to children; it is something we help them learn, within the safety of a secure relationship. Long before we talk about routines or strategies, we take time to understand your child’s temperament, development, feeding, health, family dynamics and the way they experience the world. Sleep is a biological need, but it is also deeply emotional. A child who feels safe, understood and supported is far more able to develop healthy, independent sleep skills that will last a lifetime.

Our approach is evidence-based, compassionate and entirely personalised. There is no judgement, no one-size-fits-all programme and no expectation that every child should follow the same path. Instead, we create a bespoke plan that respects your child’s development while giving you the confidence to become the calm, consistent, loving leader your child needs.

Together, we are not simply improving sleep. We are building emotional security, resilience and lifelong healthy sleep habits, giving your child an essential life skill while helping your whole family enjoy calmer days, more restful nights and greater confidence in the journey ahead.
